A doomed New York chopper plunged into the Hudson River, killing everyone on board. Agustin Escobar, his wife Merce Camprubi Montal, and their three children were identified as the victims of the horror crash on Thursday afternoon. It was just another day of working from home for Dani Horbiak, occasionally glancing over at the usual traffic across the scenic Hudson River that her Jersey City apartment overlooks. But at around 3:15 p.m. (1915 GMT), the 29-year-old visual effects artist heard what she later described as the sound of “gunshots” before peering out her window to witness an entire helicopter fall to pieces as it slammed into the Hudson River.
