Moment Manchester bus crashes into bridge ripping off roof as driver arrested
A bus driver has been arrested after a double decker's roof was torn off as it passed under a bridge. A 19-year-old woman is among three passengers who were seriously injured in the horror smash on Monday. Two men, one in his 20s and another in his 40s, were also rushed to hospital in a serious condition - with a further 17 passengers treated at the scene. The driver of the bus, a man in his 50s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving, police said today.
